So I wanted to get down on paper why I am writing this blog. First I will start with my story...
I was born and raised in St. Petersburg/Tampa, Florida. I received my Bachelor's in Criminology from The University of Tampa in 2007. I also married my husband, my soldier, Johnathan in 2007. On April 17, 2008 our son Johnathan Jr was born and in December of that year we moved to Germany. From then I have been a stay at home mom and wife. On September 9, 2010 our daughter Jaslene Iyana was born. In April of 2011 we moved to El Paso, TX. Next it was on to Fort Polk Lousiana in October of 2012.
OK short and sweet right? I am here to blog about my life's journey, right now that happens to revolove around the US Army. I am just a wife who wants to defy the stereotype, break down the barriers and live a great life within the confines of the military.
